Failing CVVT Exhaust Hub... V70-XC70 2007

So to the point of the question.

I've discovered one, maybe two oil leaks upon changing the oil for the first time.

The one for sure is where the dipstick tube goes into the block. I know I caused this when putting the head on the car and I already have the part to fix it.

The second leak which I don't believe is related to the first has oil coming down onto the engine mount that sits under the crank pulley.

I know that when I put the engine back together that I had some play in the exhaust hub, so is this oil a result of the hub getting worse? If I take the plug out of the hub and get oil spilling everywhere, would this be a correct diagnosis?
