dipstick C70 2012

I just took the ring of my Oil dip stick on my 2012 C70
I priced the dealer's...WOW.
After checking generic sticks, I found a number of comments saying.
" you need a new tube to go with it"
" it does not fit "
"its not worth returning "

Any suggestions -Help
