A little long term update. The fuel rail pressure sensor went out on this one just like the 2007, 3.2 a few months ago. This car is still under warranty, so the dealer had to fix it.
I hit a truck tire tread on the interstate and it took out the fog light surround on the left side. I let the dealer replace it when they did the last free service at 30,000 miles.
The car is Magic Blue. Since it had been a rental fleet car, I did some research and selected a local detailer to clean and buff out the paint. After two attempts you can still see buffer swirls in the paint in bright sunlight. Sigh. Doing more research on local detailers.
I took it to a local tire dealer to have the alignment checked and the tires rotated an balanced. They discovered two bent wheels. Apparently this is common on luxury brand cars. There were two scalloped tires, too. They put them on the front, so I turned off the STC and removed the scallops with a couple of burn outs. I hired a alloy wheel repair shop to straighten the wheels and polish out the curb rash on three for $300. He did beautiful work.
The navigations system is almost impossible to use with voice commands. Programming in a destination with the controls is tedious and time consuming.
Overall, the wife loves the car and that is all that really matters.
