Adding an oil bypass kit to vehicle V70-XC70 2008

One of the truck magazines that I get tested three bypass systems. Their conclusion - the only difference that they found was the impact of the extra oil that the systems add to the engine's capacity.

I have owned several old vehicles that I dosed with an engine flush - one of them, a '68 Ford 6 cylinder suffered two collapsed lifters - I had to remove all the lifters and clean them.

BTW - an egg carton makes a great lifter holder.
