Regardless Volvo is pretty good about having parts vs other marques 850 1995

My latch broke 3 years ago on an 850 that had just 110K miles on it. I couldn't see the sense of getting a used one that probably came of a car with double the miles. So I just took the glove box door off and took out the light bulb. So glove box but no door. The two pluses are: I'll never be denied access to the glove box again. 2: Nobody will break into my 850 hoping there is something hidden in the glove box. Downside is stuff does fall out to the floor and it makes the whole car look like a PO Junk. Honestly parts available is so much better that what I see from Audi I just feel so lucky that I bought Volvo. I'm not sure if this luck will extend into the future though or if it even extends to new Volvos. New Volvos seem too complex to have good parts availability when they will be 20 or more years old.
