ECT change out problem.... S70 1998

appreciate your input as always Klaus.....got plug apart, but then had wire, engine side of plug, break further down...tried butt splicing it, but can't get at it...short of pulling radiator, supports, etc. to give unfettered access, I'm up a stump...none of the junkyards around here Seem to have Volvos, nearest a 45 minute drive.....gonna throw it at my local indy...DID get new ECT sensor and thermostat installed, and coolant mostly flushed as well...hate to give in, but my times of flat on my back or on my knees in my driveway are drawing to a close I'm afraid...inky has a lift, perhaps can free yo broken wire further along in the harness...
