From the factory, the T5 had a 2.3L with a high-pressure turbo and a forged crankshaft, the GLT had a 2.4L low pressure turbo with a cast crankshaft.

Sounds like there is a story, somewhere.

I don't know anything at all about the dealer that Klaus linked, but they seem to keep an inventory of relatively sane, cheap cars.

(Outlasted the Acura that replaced it, and might even outlast the BMW that replaced the Acura.)
