Steering fluid leak XC90 2004

I noticed that the power steering fluid was pretty low, and I put in the recommended Volvo green fluid. I am not sure of the nature or extent of the leak. I am considering using some LucasOil Stop-Leak to see if it might, well, stop the leak, as I imagine having the steering system work done might be fairly expensive. My question is whether a product like that will do further damage to the system. Basically, I figure that, if it does no harm and I'm no worse off if it doesn't work, I might as well try the StopLeak. I am wondering what you on this forum would do in my shoes, keeping in mind that the car is almost 13 years old and has about 175K miles on it. (XC90 2.5T AWD)
