Extended Warranty 205 - PCV Oil Trap and Vent installed V50

You are correct. I trust the dealer as much as I can throw a 100 pound rock across the river.

I have called Volvo N.A. and made them aware of the situation. I haven't had anyone from Volvo N.A. be able to verify that a metal connector should be used. There are hose claps in the parts bulletin and also cable ties. I wonder what VIDA says to do?

The name of the extended warranty is Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Oil Trap and Ventilation Hose makes me wonder what part of Ventilation Hose didn't the dealer understand? How much #205 warranty work has this dealer preformed where they were paid for the hose replacement but in reality they didn't replace the hose? Am I seeing a sad example of poor dealer service?

Oh well at least they are going to replace it.
