PO 2187 thrown today V50

Running too lean is a vacuum leak, most cases. Your PCV system does have a poor designed upper hose, upgraded since 2008. But look around for other breaks in the vacuum system.

The PCV valve of the 1970's is long gone. It is the function of the oil separator to condense oil vapors and let the liquid oil drip back into the sump. This method keeps most of the oil in the car rather than burning a quart of oil every other tankful and fouling the spark plugs.

I remember the 240's, wasn't the oil trap under the intake manifold???

Keeping it running is better than buying new
