Took delivery of a 2008 V70. Wow. V70-XC70 2008

Our "Swedish Rocket Sled," aka '95 855T has been retired. Literally and figuratively. New tires and one wheel after wife hit a brick in the road, then a week later, the V70 is in the driveway right next to it.

The dealer delivered it to within 20 minutes of us as he was traveling to his parents home for Thanksgiving. I drove it back through the rain and love the ride. No more rattles, clunks, squeaks, and carrying a gallon of transmission fluid in the back.

I generally scoff at reviews by short-term owners so this isn't a review, just acknowledgement of an amazing leap in build over twenty years.

My only gripe is the silly key fob in the dash push button start thing. Why not just a proximity Fob a la Harley Davidson or other vehicles?

Now, what is the best scanner to own for troubleshooting the Space Shuttle grade electronic systems in this marvel? I've downloaded a service manual and read the owner's manual. Just waiting for the "messages" to start.
