Used buying: New-gen S60 / old S60 / C30 S60

I want a Volvo again! We're shopping for a used one, narrowed down to a late-mode C30, S60 2.5T (2012-13) and S60 2.5T (2008-09). (No AWD, no 6-cyl, no R-type.)

We've already test-driven examples. I have a trusted mechanic to check out anything before purchase, and does good work on Volvos. And any of these cars would meet our needs. Per the folks at Intellichoice & Edmunds, expenses on keeping the C30 or new-gen S60 for 5-8 years would be close enough to not factor into my decision. (Naturally if I go for the older S60 I am prepared for more money and work.)

So, is there any big difference in repair and maintenance trouble points between the three?

(I've read about premium v. regular gas in all the other threads on the subject.)

Thanks in advance.
