Outer CV Joint Boot S60 2004

Ok, took my car to a DEALER for service, told both my outer CV boots were torn.

136,000 miles......

pass side no problem replacing, driver side mechanic
could not get half axel out of tranny.

After some struggle they asked me if they should keep at it, but they may ruin tranny housing.

I said no, button it up and they sprayed some grease in and sent me on my way.

Bringing it back in 8,000 miles later to have some other work done and have them inspect the joint?

Any thoughts or remedies I can discuss with them?

If i get the same answer I may take it to another shop?

Not quite sure how bad it is, I will see if they can let me take a look under there this time.

I do not think the joint is bad, no cliclking some times I do get a slight vibration when cold?
