lug nut torque?? 850 94

Anyone else notice that even after putting a torque wrench to the stock alloy wheel lug nuts and tightening to factory spec, when it comes time to take the wheels off you need 2 or 3 times as much torque to remove them? I have the OEM six spoke 1994 issue wheels. Any recomendations? I tighten them by hand, alternating the sequence like you are supposed to, etc....but they are always an absolute bear to take off after a few months of being on. Come to think of it, even if I have to take them back off the same day, they take twice as much torque to get back off.
