Re: A most enjoyable upgrade for 98 and older for under $20 S70 1998

Well, at 80mph the spray worked fine if a little different. The wind actually depressed the fan and caused it to hit the windshield lower than at 0mph. No fluid went anywhere but the windshiled. The results were good, since the fluid hitting the windshield lower immediately got pushed up by the force of the wind and the wipers got the full distribution. I would say at high speed the new-style nozzles are still better than the old ones, but not by as much as in low speed situations. Still a win IMO, still I needed to keep the spray on for a lot shorter time. I tend to use the spray at lower speeds anyway, for when I am going fast, usually no one is in front of me so close as to necesetate the spray. Anyway, for $20 give it a try and if you don't like it, donate them to someone who does.

Cheers.
