Thinking of purchasing a 2002 S60 T5 - What do you lookout for? S60 2002

Hello All,

Based upon a recent post, I am considering purchasing a 2002 S60 T5 with a 5 speed manual from the original owner. The car has 130,000 miles and had a “chip” installed that increased the original power rating of 247 HP by 50 HP. The clutch was replaced at 76,000 miles and the timing belt was replaced at 105,000. It appears from a visual inspection the car has been well maintained.

I would welcome any suggestions or advice as to what to look out for in examining this car. Thank you to all who reply.

Hugh
