I agree that a fan pattern is best for covering more area to reduce dry wiping. But, if you were travelling at a decent speed, and especially at highway speeds, this fan will be significantly less effective.

Ever since I changed a check valve, the spray has been incredibly strong. On some cars, the thin stream gets blown around at much slower speeds, and now, the stream is nice and strong delivering lots of spray when I need it. And even with the flow as good as it is, at highway speeds, you can see a little dip in the spray. And as the speed increases linearly, the lowering of the spray increases exponentially.
