Car will start and idol for 14 minutes then die and wont start for a hour. 850 1994

You only have one CAT, 2 O2 sensors. Banging on the side of a cold cat with a closed fist and hearing rattling is the only way that I know of to check it. It falls apart internally and rattles. This doesn't happen very often.

Your car's timing is controlled by the front O2 sensor. What are the specific codes you got off the computer? Wire brushing the O2 sensor is not a good thing, you will need a new one. Try Amazon.com with the proper OEM part number. A cheap knockoff will not work very well. There are 2 types, one for engines with a SAS pump and one for EGR cars, make sure you get the proper one. Plug compatible.

Because the engine starts fine when cold and dies when it gets hot, could be from an over rich condition caused by the O2 sensor. A bad vacuum leak, or unmetered air getting in the manifold after the AMM/MAF.
