Good used Volvo for daughter S70

All,

Its been a while since I posted, not been a Volvo owner for a few years. Looking to purchase a good used Volvo for my daughter to drive when she graduates college this spring until she can find a job and purchase something nicer later. I like the looks of the S70 but was wondering how reliable they have been and what to look for in one that has over 150K miles. I'm can fix most anything but would really not have too. Also want to minimize her breaking down on the road. Budget will be about $3K which there seems to be several in the Charlotte area, even saw a nice 97 960. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks
