Hello all, Its been awhile. I have a 2005, V-70 2.5 Not 4wd. I am on the third alt. in less than 3 weeks. First one was overcharging, second one was even worse at overcharging, 17.6 volts, third is perfect. I installed new Bat. because the second alt fried the battery. This go around. Alt. output is 13.84 volts, however, when I start it 20 to 30 seconds later the bat. light comes on and the message board is lit up. What up? Is there a special relearn code? Message will not reset. It is off when you start, but won't stay off. Anyone have same problem?
