S80 Won't start. S80 1999

Hello, all! I've got a 1999 S80 with 147k which I purchased non-running and I'm not trying to troubleshoot and get running again. When I crank it the engine cranks strong and it seems like it is just about to catch but it never will. I have tried new cam and crank sensors, checked the fuel rail (50 PSI), and various other things. When I pulled a coil pack and tried to start the car, I could see the spark arcing across, it seemed fairly strong, but also rather irregular, with a gap, 2 sparks, a shorter gap, another spark, etc. The car has the ABS and SRS service messages as well as the original ETM. Which of these, if any, could cause the irregular sparking? Also, are there any other possibilities that I should look into? Thanks for your help!
