Pocket Data Book 850 1995

I finally received my pocket data book from Volvo. It is indeed a nice source, but it requires a lot of knowledge.

A couple of questions for the experts:

How do I switch from Mode 1 to Mode 2 etc when reading (and entering) codes? I have a good old diagnostic LED/button system (not OBDII).

How do I determine what fuel managment system I have - LH 3.2 or Motronic 4.3 (my engine is B5254S, non-turbo). Also, how do I determine my TCM type - there seemed to be more than one for this engine.

Yuri
