Strut/Shock Replacement S60 2004

I just had tires put on my 2004 S60 2.5T AWD. With 100K miles the person replacing the tires says I need new shocks. This seems odd to me. He offered to replace all four for the mear sum of $675. My 850's had up to 200K on them and the shocks were still good. If I do replace them, are there any recommendations for replacement? where would you buy them? Also how do I get to the top of the rear shocks? any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ron
