thinking about buying a newer car S70

I have a 1994 850 with 274,256 miles on it. The odometer just went out. It needs new power steering and now new brakes. I have been eyeing the 1998 S70. My mechanic thinks it is the best of the lot. I have seen it priced online at $4900 for 130K. Should I get this car? I don't want to go down to S40 and can't afford anything else in the size range. Or should I keep my money and fix up my car? Did I mention my car is hesitant to start when the weather gets cool some monrings.e.
