got a second, third and fourth opinion. all were more expensive and after discussions with an uncle and mechanic pal (who cant fix it any cheaper than the local indy shop) my disc pack is burnt up/fused.
anyhow, im gonna go forward and get 'er fixed. my local volvo indy shop has a 112k tranny from a car he worked on for most of its life.


so... here i go spending money i aint made yet...
