Power steering Rack fluid hard line crack! V70-XC70

PS fluid leak traced to cracked hard-line on the rack and pinion unit.
This unit an SMI is no longer available, no parts.
Has anyone had this problem?
If so:
Junk line
Have a new one made
Remanufact unit
or new unit at $1100.00

Car is 2001 V70, 2.3 EFI
