With 17" wheels (225/50/17 tires?) you may want to purchase steel winter wheels to both preserve the expensive performance wheels and to give a better choice of snow tires. There's a few studless 17 inch snow tires (such as Bridgestone, Nokian & Pirelli) that would fit but many more 16 inch studded and studless. Look in your manual for recommended winter tire size. I'd guess 215/55/16.
