Fixing my steering wheel horn..... 850 1995

What a bunch of bunk! It takes electricity to operate the air bag, and with the key in Pos I, there is no voltage supplied. All manuals will have you disconnect the battery, just to be safe. In any case, do not turn the key to pos II with the airbag disconnected, the SRS light will come on and a trip to the dealer to turn it off will cost you. Which also means you cannot test the horn with the airbag out.

There are 2 torx screws in the rear of the steering wheel which hold the air bag in place. Remove the 2 screws, lift off the airbag and disconnect it from the power supply. That will expose the horn ring. You will need the key in pos I to turn the steering wheel to be able to see the Trox screws and get them out.

Easy.
