NO OIL PRESSURE = NOT GOOD V70-XC70 2001

2.4L, non-turbo, 176K miles

Engine runs well, low-no oil consumption, but at 800 rpm idle a "NO OIL PRESSURE ..." message appears randomly. Over 850 rpm, the message is gone. VERY concerned about this one.

Does the oil pump on this vehicle have any issues?
Does it have a limited life?

Any ideas?
