Door won't open S80 1999

Thanks for the web page. It was of help.

Tough going as I had to get the door panel off with the door shut.

I found the 'child safety lock' on the rear door jamb was in the locked position.
Couldn't open it from the outside as the mechanism was not functioning.

It was a 'Katrina' car which I bought for $2K after the storm and had been driving around for the last 4 years without the need to open the rear passenger side door until the other day when I had to access the fuel pump and get the rear seats etc out.

Would like to ay my hands on a reasonably priced V70
