front end noise S70 1998

Klaus

I got in there better with the passenger wheel off tonight. I can rotate the end link about its axis, but it does not move other than that rotation. I can move the engine +/- 3/16" at the passenger engine mount with a crow bar. Didn't hear any metal contact when I did it, and the rubber appears intact to the bottom of the mount.

I'm wondering more about your comments on the exhaust. It is definitely a metallic sound so if the system has enough weight on its own to move separate from the car at acceleration & braking - maybe thats the culprit. I'll get under the car this weekend & see what I can find.

Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it.
