You can do this quickly by pulling circuit breaker 1 from the second

fuse box (under the hood). Leave it out for a minute and that

should do it. Over time, my engine can feel rough,

like the timing is off. Resetting the ECU causes it to feel

silky smooth for about a day or so. Note that I have a manual

transmission and I think I feel more of the engine tuning since

it is directly coupled to the driveline. An automatic might

isolate this a bit. And yea, the car is faster but not for

very long. Would be a good thing to do if you are at the track

going for a quarter mile run (in fact, I read a car magazine that

recommended this for almost all cars doing quarter mile runs at

their local track).
