Coolant in the driver's floor S80

I'm not an expert mechanic, though I have had to do a lot of research by necessity. At any rate, on a '00 s80 t6 if your heater core worked great last winter and you have only been using A/C this summer - what is most likely the reason there is some coolant coming in the driver's side driver floor area. And would be safe to drive without ruining anything on a 1500 mile trip
