oil leak on front of engine S70 1998

By "front" of engine, do your mean the side facing the front of the car? The real front of the engine is the driver's side.

You could have a loose hose between the box and the manifold. Did you route the hose from the top of the manifold to the center or outside nipple of the separator box? The correct opening is the outside one. The center opening on top of the separator box is for the vacuum hose going to the throttle body and flame trap.
