No Spark 850

Thanks..ignition switch is new....have 3 ecu's in my possesion...2 are "deenergized" for long perods of time....they do not reset...tried that...Looking for reasons, such as a short in the harness, which would render the ecm junk...incidentally, I have checked the ignition portion of the harness, from the various sensors back to the ecm for continuity, cross continuity, ground continuity..all seems well...body grounds are intact...what are the odds that I simply purchased an ecu (used), which was on the verge of death...what also are the odds that a non-identical ecu, such as from my other 850,(same year..automatic instead of standard, same engine), would be ruined simply by installing it and attempting to start the vehicle ..i.e....assuming there is no issue in my harness...What does it take to kill the ecu???.....Thanks again
MJ
