Engine mount clearance? 850

Anybody know the clearance for engine mounts on the 850? I have a new-to-me one with a fair amount of vibration and a metallic 'clunk' over abrupt bumps. Replace the top torque mount and the right ("front") mount--both cracked but intact. What's the clearance for the hydraulic ones? The tranny is resting on a rubber frame pad on the left subframe--not hard, as I can pry it up pretty easily, but certainly against it. Is this normal, or is that a 'all else fails' bumper?

The front mount has slack in a steel 'keeper" (?) cable--maybe 1/4".

Thanks!

P.S. I'm a noob at the image attachments, but the next pic in the library shows tranny to subframe clearance looking to the rear.
