It was definately not your fault! And I do not know if you can find out the date of manufacture. I left an email at Borton Volvo, but I am going to be gone for 4 days. If they can verify a year, I will let you know on Tuesday.

Keep that belt and keep looking. Can you find a manufacturer for that belt and email them a nice letter? A little fibbing and flattery will get you a long way...:)
