850 Doorcheck 850 1996

Susan's 850 driver's door acts like it is springloaded when you try to close it.
Normally the doorcheck tries to close for the first few inches and beyond that,
it holds the door open to a point. This one is always trying to push the door open.
Not having any experience with doorhinges and checks on Volvos newer than 1975,
I sprayed a little B'laster into the doorcheck, which looked very clean.
Doesn't seem to have made any difference.

I haven't got into VADIS yet to look it over but is removal of the interior door
panel in the cards for us? My S60 T5 is about ready to pick up in Asheville so
I am flying over tomorrow morning but will probably be back Wednesday night and
will be able to look at it more seriously then. Meanwhile any helpful hints will
be most gratefully appreciated. I'm hoping this will be better than some of the
horror stories I've been part of on my 164 and 145E......

Thanks,
