AC/REC lights flash briefly after starting, then stay on. Cause for concern? 850 1994

Subject basically says it all. This has never happened before (perhaps once or twice in the 13+ I've had the car), but has happened twice in the last week. The lights flash for about ten seconds or so, and then stay on after flashing more quickly for a second or so. Is this something I should be worried about?
