Cabin air flow question S70 1999

When the windows are up, and the outside air vent is open, is there a designed path for the air to exit the cabin, or is it just leakage?
I'm one of the dinosaurs who smokes in the car, and am deaf enough without the amphoric resonance from a partially open window; I'm thinking of adding a couple of 12V biscuit fans toward the rear of the cabin to improve venting, if I can figure out where to put them most efficiently. Suggestions are welcome.
There are several months of the year when improved airflow would make it unnecessary to run the a/c, so it's worth some effort even if I quit smoking...
TIA
