'96 850 GLT Radiator Replacement - Difficulty/Tips? 850 1996

Its not that bad to do.. keep in mind your going to have to remove a few screws on the header panel after you remove the fan assembly.

The worst part of this is the two bolts which hold the radiator to the frame. The nut fasteners are welded to the frame and come loose..causing the bolt to spin and making it difficult to remove. I would suggest you spray it with penetrating oil before you start.

The only other thing i would suggest is you remove the antifreeze by removing the bottom hose and not the petcock/drain cock on the bottom of the radiator.

Depending on the model you purchase they sometimes are defective.

Happy Repairs Forever!
