850 Turbo 850

I have found a used 1996 850 turbo wagon, 80,000 miles. I own a 1990 760 turbo wagon that needs pretty much constant attention, so I understand about keeping a Volvo on the road. Can any of you give me some insight on the 850? Do you like it? Average maintenance, above average? I do the oil changes and tire rotating but I go to indy shop when something big comes up.
