Kevin--try Volvo Houston parts at 1-800-468-0041 for both your rails and load bars. I buy all my Volvo parts there because I found them to be the cheapest for OEM parts. I priced a set of XC rails a month or so ago, and, as I recall, Miguel, the parts manager there, quoted me $345 or thereabouts.
As a side note, the XC rails look a lot nicer on the 850 in my opinion than what came as an accessory at the time the car was made. The original rails are skinny and have a funny looking back end to them. The XC rails came out in 97 and were installed on the V-70's. They will fit the 850, no problem. Identical mounting. The XC come either smooth, the same texture as the trim plastic on the side of the door, or textured. I bought the textured rails and they really dress up the car, much more so than the thin ones. Price is generally the same for the skinny ones as the thicker, heavier looking ones on the XC's. Load bearing though is the same for both. The width or visual cross-section of the XC rails comes close to the width of the trim plastic on the doors, and, as I said, really compliments the looks. The skinny rails look more like an afterthought. Dick
