Problem with Power Windows V70-XC70

Hello Forum,

I have a problem with my power windows that seems to also be affecting sunroof and power mirrors. They wont function, but every now and again I can get them to move again but only for the duration of maybe half a full window roll up or down. The problem seems to be with the driver window control. When I press it down I hear a pulsing noise and it is hard to press almost as if something is in its way. When pulling it up its very easy and there is not the normal tension you would feel. All other window switches "feel" fine, but dont work either. Initially I thought it was the fuse, but the fuse for windows/sunrooof is a circuit breaker fuse and not easily accessed in the fuse box. But then since it still works occassionally would it be the fuse?
I took my car in last week to have the brakes looked at and they washed the car and seemed to have fixed the windows because they were working fine until yesterday when they started to act weird again. Another thing I notice is that after startign the car is when it seems that I sometimes am able to get the windows to work again for that little 5 seconds that they do.

Anyone have any idea waht the problem could be, steer me in the right direction?
Electrical problem? Battery? Fuse?

Thanks
