I am going to have to replace the timing belt on this car soon (1999 v70 xc with around 88,000). I have always done this DIY on other makes I have owned, but on this car I'm not sure it I should do it.

Should a rairly competent shade tree type do it?

If not, can anyone suggest a shop in the St. Louis area at which you have had some good work performed (at a fair price!)?
