2000 S80 pinking (knock) S80

Recently aquired a S80 2.4 (2000). Noticed that the car pinks (knocks) under light load conditions.(worse with air con running) I have changed the plugs,oil and filter, run on 97RON fuel with an addative to increase the octane rating but the fault persists. Engine temp guage appears normal with no loss of coolant. The dim does not report / suggest any stored codes, I suspect possibly faulty knock sensor(s) or MAF,any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
