V40 steering me out of my mind... S40-V40 2002

Help !

V40 T4 2002.

Since I've had this car, it has ALWAYS been heavier to turn to the left, and springs back much quicker to centre after each left - hand turn. The dealers say its a characteristic of the car... Yet all the other v40s Ive driven seem equally balanced. And this has been going on for a year now. ... aargh!

As far as any garage can make out, its never been in an accident or 'jigged' All components appear to be original - no evidence of pulling or reshaping below.

Things checked so far:
Tyre pressures.
Hub bearings
Wheel balancing.
Swapping wheels.
4-wheel alignment (5 times)

Things replaced with new so far:
Complete steering rack.
L+R lower suspenion arms
L+R shock absorbers
L+R roll bar link roads ( rhs found faulty )

Latest suggestion:
Could a worn/compressed/ faulty suspension-strut mounting bearing affect the steering on one side only..? Hmmm..

HAS ANYONE ANY IDEAS AT ALL ??

Cheers.
