My beloved 1995 850 has 141k on it and is beginning to show some age. I had the clutch replaced a month ago (Redline MTL really makes a huge difference with the M56 manual transmission - shifts like butter now!), both control arms replaced last summer (worn ball joints), noisy bearing in the heater blower fan or motor and various lights and such burning out. Last week, I noticed a louder-than-usual clunking noise from the front suspension. It appears there is about a quarter inch (0.25", 6.35mm) gap between the rubber bushing under the strut cap and the strut mount. The bushing will bump into the top of the mount when the fender is bounced. Thanks to the glory of the internet, you can see so for yourself:

I've read the sway bar bushings are suspect on this vehicle as well as the strut mount/bump stop giving way. Can anyone confirm or deny one of these solely by the noise and pictures provided? All replies are appreciated.
