1998 S70 Drive After Purchase Risk S70

I just bought an S70 conditional on inspection at a Volvo dealer about 90 miles away. If it passes the inspection, I plan to have the dealer change the timing belt as the car has 77K miles (2K over change recommendation). If the dealer cannot squeeze me in this week, I was wondering how much of a risk I would be taking by driving the car 90 miles where my local Volvo shop can work on it. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
