Wheel bearing replacement Question V70-XC70

Am replacing front wheel bearing on 98 V70 this weekend. My question is, Bay 13 just removes two control arm bolts and then removes axel.

Chiltons has you remove ball joint,sway bar etc.

Anybody have any suggestions as to best(least work) to do this.
